MrE is #FLYAH

I am MrE, Bronx, NY is my city, Hip-Hop's the genre, but none of the mainstream, but more of that real $#!+ that there used to be more of, Recently returned to Hip-Hop after a three year hiatus, which my new single, "Prodigal Son" pretty much details. So far, I scored a lot of airplay, features on chi-bangerz.com and doingjusticeishine.com, Coast 2 Coast Mixtapes Presents: #MakinMoves Mixtape Vol. 345 and more. 'Mr.E is definitely a disciplined artist. He works on his craft daily and that's why he is known as the "Prodigal Son". Take a listen to this strong sampled track from Mr.E as he speaks those BX rhymes.'  -DJ iShine - Doing Justice iShine (LLC). Hip-Hop tried to woo me since the late '80s with the likes of Chubb Rock, Big Daddy Kane and Positive K, to name a few...but I was all about the King of Pop, R.I.P. Mid '90s, Hip-Hop came back at me with her A game, throwing 2Pac, Biggie, Lost Boyz, Kris Kross, MC Lyte, Bone Thugs N Harmony and such at me, breaking me down. Then she went in for the kill, with the Dog, DMX. I was done. I bought that It's Dark and Hell is Hot and I never been the same ever again. For the first time ever, I no longer wanted to just listen to Hip-Hop records. I wanted to write 'em, too. Don't think the world's yet to witness what I'm fully capable of as a lyricist, so...stay tuned, however, "Prodigal Son" is appearing to be my major head-turner. Right now, just got my eye on this game like an assasin. You can expect a mixtape soon, followed by the video to "Prodigal Son" and, uh, maybe an album, if not, another single. I just started the Our Voice series where it's lyrics over beats and not vice versa, inspired by you, the fans. Think of it as my audio blog. So, if you must remember anything, let it be these two: remember my sign and remember that the darkness cometh.

PRESS RELEASE

SassySingz Releases New R&B Single, Late Night, with a Strong Message to Listeners around the World

Miami, FL – October 8, 2014 –Award winning Songstress SassySingz releases her new R&B single, Late Night, on November xx, 2014, in time for the holiday season. Late Night is a sultry, melodic R&B tune reminiscent of the rich 90s’ sound. The opening beat is captivating with a suspenseful twist hinting that a deep, dark secret is about to unfold. It segues into SassySingz’s lyrics that relate to the late night struggles, the loneliest moments people go through. Perfectly wrapped in the soulful melody and the sultry vocals of SassySingz is the personal message to her listeners: I understand what you are going through. You’re not alone; it is okay to ask for help.

Experiencing late nights of her own, SassySingz was inspired to write this song after a long, unpleasant day. Arriving home at 1:00am, she had no one to call, no one to express her frustration to. “It’s at night time when no one is around that the feelings get the most overwhelming,” says SassySingz. She awoke the next morning to hear of Robin Williams’ passing. Devastated by the news of someone she admired and respected, SassySingz decided to be transparent through her music setting the example of acknowledging what many undergo. Her story is an example that others can press through to their joy.

Although it should be a joyous time, the holiday season ignites depression in some people. The release of Late Night is dedicated to those who experience the holiday blues, general depression throughout the year, or even occasional overwhelming moments. “During this holiday season, I want people to know that someone knows how they feel. I want this to be a beacon of light for those struggling,” says SassySingz.

The message is bold but the quality of music and entertainment will leave you wanting more. Rich melodies, strong vocals, and easy listening will take this to the top of the charts. Expect Late Night to hit the charts the same as Control, which peaked at #6 on the National Airplay Top 50 R&B/Hip Hop Charts and catapulted her to #10 on the National Airplay Top 50 Independent Artist Charts.

Late Night will be in rotation on all major radio stations, college stations, international entertainment sites and more. Upon release, it will be available where all digital music is sold including iTunes and Amazon.com.

Connect with SassySingz on Facebook, Twitter and Instagram at @SassySingz and her website www.sassysingz.com.

Konsept is #Flyah

Konsept The Genius

Konsept The Genius, a Guyanese-American underground rapper, was born July 21st, 1989 in Cincinnati, Ohio.

Early Life
Konsept The Genius lived in Cincinnati until he was 9 years of age. It was at that time that Konsept and his mother decided to move to Maryland due to his parents' divorce.
Konsept first lived in Langley Park, Maryland for his elementary and part of his middle school life. During the second part of his time in middle school, Konsept's mother remarried and they moved from Langley Park to Hanover, a city just outside of Baltimore. Konsept lived in Hanover for a majority of his life.

Early Career
Konsept first started rapping back in 2005 under the name Terror. He was still in high school at this time. Using the name Terror, he released several mixtapes:
"T'z Mixtape Vol. 1"-released 2005
"T'z Mixtape Vol. 2"-released 2006
"Terror's S.P.I.T."-released 2007

The Birth of Konsept
The emergence of Konsept was officially marked by the release of his 2009 mixtape "Way Too Outlandish." This mixtape contained songs by Terror as well as Konsept, to show the transition he went through in his life and in his music those past few years.

Straight Up Tribal
During his time as Terror, Konsept did several collaborations with the drum circle group Straight Up Tribal. The two crossed paths on the college campus of the University of Maryland Baltimore County. The group usually played outside every Friday at 12:00 noon. Konsept was walking by with a boombox blasting his music, promoting his own projects when he heard the drum circle playing music. They also had a singer singing ska reggae type songs. The singer heard the music on the boombox and liked what he heard. He approached Konsept and asked him to rap over the drums playing. Both sounds meshed perfectly. From that point on Konsept would be with them every Friday playing music. Eventually Straight Up Tribal became more than just a local campus group. They have since expanded to larger venues around the Baltimore area. Konsept still collaborates with Straight Up Tribal from time to time, but they both are so busy making music and doing shows. The influence they had on one another can be heard in their music today.

Discover Me
After the realease of "Way Too Outlandish" Konsept went right to working on his second project. In fact, Konsept planned to release multiple projects in 2011. Konsept started working on "Discover Me" in 2009. It was supposed to be a remix of Daft Punk's "Discovery" where Konsept would rap over a few of their songs. Konsept began work on this project but never completed it, due to the fact that he was working on other projects at the same time. After about a year, all of Konsept's projects were still not done. He was taking his time to make sure everything sounded just the way he wanted it to. At this point the end was not in sight. Then, Konsept had an idea: why not release on big project instead of several small ones? So, with his plans finalized and his mind made up, Konsept released his 2011 project "Discover Me" , a compilation of three projects that were set to be released in 2011. With this release, a lot of attention was paid to Konsept.

VC7
Following the release of "Discover Me," Konsept became part of the funk rock reggae band Vending C7, or VC7 for short. The band had been playing together for years already and were searching for a new sound to add to the mix. A mutual friend of Konsept's and VC7's brought Konsept to one of VC7's practices to listen to them play. The friend mentioned to the band that Konsept was a rapper, and the band was curious. Konsept jammed with VC7 that night for fun. After a few more jam sessions and a show at Ram's Head Live in Baltimore, Konsept was asked to become a permanent member of the band. While Konsept was part of VC7, they had several shows, including a show where they opened up for Slick Rick. The infusion of hip hop into the already "funkifried" sound of the band was truly poetry. After a year and a half of playing together, VC7 decided to call it quits due to creative differences and personal issues. The members of VC7 are still friends with Konsept. No plans have been made to reunite the band.

Days of Our Lives
In July of 2013, Konsept released his first EP called "Day of Our Lives." This project features fellow hip hop artist Poetik Genius. The two met in Baltimore, Maryland in mid 2011. After doing a few songs together they decided to make an EP together. This was Konsept's first non mixtape project. They also released a music video for the song "New Year," which was the single for the project. Konsept and Poetik are still friends and still work together, but there is no talk on a second collaborative EP between the two.

The Fifteens
August 2013 brought about the creation of the mixtape series "The Fifteens." The idea of this mixtape series was to release one mixtape a month for fifteen months. Konsept was able to release a total of seven volumes before being pulled away to work on yet another project. Once his current project is done, Konsept plans to return to working on "The Fifteens" to finish out the series.

Upcoming Releases
Currenly, Konsept is working on a solo project called "NerDiKon." So far he has released two singles: "Immortal" and "Paper Race" featuring Poetik Genius. The project is in its early stages so there is no release date set as yet. He will be doing more shows soon to start promoting this project.

The Howling Bones is rock n roll #Flyah

Them Howling Bones New Album Cover- EP Release in November!
Them Howling Bones
Them Howling Bones are born rock stars with real musical muscle, the kind that are in all too short supply in today’s music scene. They were so destined to find each other and play together, that when they played their first gig, they didn't even realize it was their first gig -- it was that spontaneous.
They hopped on stage at a Los Angeles location that remains undisclosed to this day, to those outside the band’s inner circle -- rock & roll traditionalists that they are, the band insists you had to be there. They dove headfirst into a rendition of the Doors’ “Roadhouse Blues” in a completely impromptu jam session. According to bassist Armando, they “just kept on the blues feel the whole night.”
And though the gig is over, the blues feel certainly is not. Guitarist Mitch cites bluesmen of days gone by -- Albert King, Freddie King, Eric Clapton, Jimmy Page, Paul Butterfield, Duane Allman -- as major influences in his (and the band’s) sound. Mitch Micoley has traveled all the way to LA from the Midwest -- where he claims “there isn’t much going on” -- in search of a more active scene and like-minded band mates who share his goals for “us to move people, write great songs, make the audience dance and go crazy, and know our lyrics and songs.”
Vocalist Pedro Torres is certainly on the same page: “Every night is the best rock & roll night. Broke, finding ways to get by. Being in the streets, meeting people, drinking, playing, getting into trouble and learning to get away with it! Every day just drenched in a little whiskey!” For Armando, answering which rock & roll night is the best ever is “not even fair. This train is moving fast and to remember every landmark would be blurry.”
Ironically, the quietest member is Collin Kleinman, the drummer, yet he provides the band with its aura of mystery. Ask him where he’s from and he’ll likely reply, “The beach.” His goals for Them Howling Bones? “Get pitted, get slotted, then shacked, and spit right out of the barrel. Chya.”
Armando Lopez Jr. is a little more thoughtful about the prospect of the band’s bright future: “To be able to connect with a total stranger with music as a universal language is honestly beautiful. The energy of these ever-building crowds would inspire anyone with a working ticker.”
The current EPK release shows the fast musical talent for songwriting and talent.

Elad Zabinski is #FLYAH

Moving to Wonderland, Elad Zabinski

Elad Zabinski (born 16 March 1987) is an Israeli singer-songwriter. He released his debut album in May 2014. The first single "Crossroads" came out on February 12 2014, and revealed more of Elad's pop Flavor. Then in May 6 2014 the album title track "Moving to Wonderland" came out to show another side of Elad's unique sound, the more Alternative rock side. As an artist that writes all of his music and lyrics, and with his photography background Elad decided to write, direct and produce his third video for his single "Underwater"
that came out on October 27, 2014, Featuring his mom, because the song "Underwater" was written about her, after Elad lost his sister, Yael, in a bombing attack in 2005 in Tel- Aviv, Israel.
The album "Moving to Wonderland" was produced by Ayal Yishay, at "PAPA STUDIOS" Tel-Aviv", Israel.
His album brings a variety and mixture of sounds and approaches, it feels like there is something for everyone, a bit from every genre, and yet it all connects together to one story, the delivery of the vocals and his approach to writing lyrics have Elad's stamp on them, which gave him the freedom not to stick to only one style, but actually he was able to play with different styles.
Elad is yet to perform outside of Israel, but is working hard to get his music outside the borders of the holly land.

The Chorus line "everybody knows Im a monster" represents how people  look at you strange and almost have a fear of you when you know the truthRellz try's to remain a conscious rapper in a business that has became a game of who can make you dance or act ignorant.  You can expect more cartoons from Rellz and Ro along with other music videos pretty soon.  For now just check out Options below.

OnPlanetZu IS #FLYAH

"One day, it was decided that dub step needed to express its insane, danceable, funkable, thrashable alter ego."
OnPlanetZu is a self-contained entity, who's music crosses into a genre-confused electronic hip-hop/reggae/rock/you-name-it maelstrom of bass, beat and energy.  Their original, self-created sounds and 'no pre-recorded samples' approach to songwriting presents a fun, fresh high-energy blast compared to the follow-suit trend in today's music. Their songs contain an element of unpredictability-changing flow at any given turn.  OnPlanetZu's popular debut single, "Speakers" hit Earth with force, followed by their heavily base-infused "Fire." Both tracks are featured on the 2014 album "Adventures of Yo Mama."  Distributed through Sony RED to all major online retailers via Skee-Lo Musik, "Adventures of Yo Mama" has won rapidly wide appeal and has captured the attention of some respectable names in the music scene.
Zu Tha Greatone, singer/songwriter for LA bands,'OnPlanetZu' and 'Bazerk' joins forces with producer, Cori Jacobs (Fader) to inspire an original and heavy new approach to electronic music. With over a decade of history in the music industry, the members of OnPlanetZu have an almost seamless way of working together.  Fader's affinity for OnPlanetZu has added a vital element of cohesiveness between the ideas in Zu's head and the outcome of the recorded song. His versatility as a live DJ insures him integral to the structure of OnPlanetZu.  Live shows consistently energize the crowd, drawing people to the dance floor.  OnPlanetZu performances might be Zu as a solo artist- proving his gift at entertainment- or he may be joined by DJ Fader and members of Bazerk.  Either way, the band never fails to deliver.
OnPlanetZu are big on collaborations.  They have many underway with Redman, Skee-Lo, Darcy Donnovan, Blackburner, Galilee, Supa, and more. They are inculded in a 2014 Trap music box set out of Cleopatra Records, which features a number of remixed tracks from OnPlanetZu.  OPZ's music is played around the world on a multitude of internet and FM radio stations as well as video channels.  They were recently invited to open up the BET Idols and Icons Awards after-party.
During his musical career, Zu has performed with such names as: Blackburner, Dawn of Ashes, Ludacris, KRS One, Prince, Dr. Mad Vibe (Angelo Moore of Fishbone), The Black Eyed Peas, 311 and George Clinton.  He is endorsed by LinkedIn members DJ Evil E (Ice T's dj) and Anthony Andrews of Lickwit Entertainment (responsible for underground Hip Hop acts: King Tee, NAS, Tha Alkaholiks, Xzibit, Defari, Dilated People, Stylisik Jones and Lootpack).  Zu's music has been featured in  MTV Top 10, MTV Pranked, Animal Planet, Alcoholics Anonymous commercials, PlayStation 3 Commercials and Clown voice-over, 2012 feature film, "Donner's Pass." OnPlanetZu is currently sponsored by Rude Boy Clothing and Zutra Water.
Tone Toven, film director and long-time friend, has contributed to many of Zu's videos, including the smash hit video by OnPlanetZu, "Speakers,"  which earned over 100k views on YouTube within its first month.  "Speakers" has won OnPlanetZu a number of gold, silver and bronze medals for song/video production on beat100.com.  Tone's understanding of Zu's artistic style contributes to a visual presentation as in your face and out-of-the-box as the music itself.
Stay tuned, OPZ's got nothin' but HYPE transmitting to your neighborhood!

GhettoThePlug is #Flyah

Veteran rap artist, Ghetto the Plug is "Back 2 Work!" and still refusing to bow down. He continues to make music to appeal to the streets and is still pushing to “make the word ‘real’ mean something again”. Ghetto is returning stronger and more focused than ever as he continues to use his raw brand of realism to bring his music to the world.
Born in Cleveland, Ohio on September 3. Ghetto grew up on Wildwood Ave., in the jungle of Akron. He was nick-named by younger kids in his neighborhood who would witness him sleeping on the porch after pulling all-nighters on the block. Ghetto’s past is what gives his music life, because he isn’t only giving his listeners the obvious “challenges of life on the street”, but his past and a part of himself in every line he creates.

In 2004, the rap game became an outlet for Ghetto. He decided that he had something to say to the streets that needed to be heard and he was determined to say it. Never bypassing an opportunity, his first major break was in 2007 with a Young Jeezy affiliate by the name of Blood Raw, when he was going hard with CTE. After collaborating on the track titled, “It’s Nothing”, Ghetto was approached by more opportunities to get his words to the streets. Collaborating with artists from Gorilla Zoe, to Blood Raw, and Princess of Crime Mob, Ghetto continued to make himself known to the streets and work his way to the top. Even without any major deals, and paying out of his own pocket, Ghetto continued to gain momentum working with other major artists such as Jackie O., DJ Kurupt, The Joker, Fiend, Bone Crusher, Murphy Lee, 2 Chainz, and many others.

Ghetto the Plug's newest single features Johnny Cinco and is a banging track produced by Cash Jordan titled "Back 2 Work". In this single Ghetto and Johnny Cinco deliver fire blazing lyrics serving the streets and making the blocks jump. This is only one of many as Ghetto is currently working on his new album, "Lord Forgive My Sins", which drops January 1, 2015. This is just the beginning of what is to come from this artist as Ghetto continues to stay focused and speak to the reality of streets through his music.

Somebody Else's Nightmare is #Flyah

Born in 1956, Joe started his life playing banjo and telling jokes at the age of six as a guest star on the Roy Rodgers Dale Evans television variety show on NBC. From there he went on to do spots on other shows shows working with Edgar Bergen, Dennis Day, Art Linkletter, Eddie Peabody and then went on to fame and fortune doing radio and television commercials "I want my Maypo!".

During his stint at Giannini Junior High school, he won an Epstien grant for classical piano - and picked up the bass during his time in junior high school and continued being a working musician, playing bass in the hotels and clubs around the bay area of San Francisco, and playing and recvording with musicians like Paul Horn and Eddie harris. He has been playing, recording and writing music ever since. After touring around the world and living in NYC, he has moved back to the bay area and now resides in Sonoma CA. where he enjoys taking care of dogs at his Doggie Bed and Breakfast.

Somebody Else’s Nightmare
Strength And Kindness
Review by Alex Henderson

Somebody Else’s Nightmare sounds like the name of a band that offers some type of very loud, edgy, brash, in-your-face rock: perhaps metal, perhaps industrial, perhaps punk, perhaps grunge.  But the Sonoma, California-based Somebody Else’s Nightmare don’t sound anything like that.  Strength and Kindness is not an album that is easy to pin down stylistically: this 52-minute CD doesn’t fit neatly into one particular category.  But if one had to have a brief description of what it is that they do, the most appropriate would be “an appealing mixture of fusion, post-bop, soft rock, adult contemporary and soul-jazz.”  A variety of direct or indirect influences assert themselves on this 2014 release, from Spyro Gyra, the Yellowjackets and McCoy Tyner to Paul Simon, Steely Dan and Michael Franks.  On the vocal offerings (which include “Destination Nowhere” and the melancholy “Lonely Town”), it is clear that they appreciate the hipper, more creative side of 1970s/early 1980s soft rock and adult contemporary.  “The Light Will Show the Way,” another vocal tune, combines jazzy alternative rap along the lines of Digable Planets, the Roots or Kuf Knotz with hints of vibist/singer Roy Ayers’ late 1970s/early 1980s recordings (which makes sense because many alternative rappers have sampled Ayers)

Somebody Else’s Nightmare
Strength And Kindness
Review by The Grouch

This is a remarkably well made album by a group of very talented musicians.  My personal favorite track on the album is: Yard Full of Joes - first of all the drummer lays down a funky beat that is just odd enough to be confusing, but not so out there as to make my brain hurt.  Secondly the bass is just bad ass - then the horns come in and honest to God it blows my mind - I find myself grooving to what they are doing with a goofy smile on my face.

Somebody Else’s Nightmare
Strength And Kindness
Review by Dan MacIntosh

Fortuitously, and also quite truthfully, CDbaby.com mentions Zawinul in its ‘Recommended if You Like’ section under Somebody Else’s Nightmare because a track called “Worker Bees” features a great Jaco Pastorius-like bass line – much like the sort he used to regularly contribute to the band Weather Report. (This, of course, was a Zawinul-led act). Strength and Kindness is a solid collection of jazz-fusion songs.
You usually think of electronic instrumentation when considering jazz-fusion music. However, this album’s title cut begins with an acoustic bass line, which is later joined by drums, then saxophone and piano. It’s a swinging, straight ahead jazz tune and quite likeable.

3rd Twin is #Flyah

Little Roy, formerly known as Gemini 3rd Twin, now goes by just 3rd
Twin. Born Roy Moore III in Portland, OR. 3rd twin is a 20yr rap veteran
who has done it all from winning rap battles all across the country, to
being signed to a major label. 3rd Twin started writing raps at the
tender age of 12. He landed his first recording contract with DM
entertainment at the age of 14. Konflic his first group, was formed with
three other child hood friends. One of their first performances was at
Portland's second installment of its only local hip hop showcase PO
HOP2. Konflic by far were the youngest to hit the stage. From then on,
Konflic paved the way for the young mc's around town.
Over the years, 3rd Twin was known for his great talent, remarkable word
play and powerful punchlines. He quickly became very popular and known
as the hottest MC and best lyricist in Portland. With a captivating
stage presence to go along with his great talents 3rd twin burst on to
the Portland Hip Hop scene.
In 1999, 3rd Twin joined forces with another local rap group Pros and
Cons. This was an 8 member group bred out of the great Northwest.
Similar to New York's version of the WU-Tang Clan. Pros and Cons went on
to become Portland's highest selling rap group, selling well over 20,000
units between two albums. Between 2000-2002 Pros and Cons traveled
across the United States and on to Mexico showcasing their talents.
In 2003, 3rd Twin and two of his fellow group members from Pros and Cons
branched off to form a group called DNA (DeNied Access) and got their
big break signing to a major record label Bogata' Records/Universal. The
company owned and operated by 6-time NBA Allstar Jermaine O'neal. The
group eventually moved to Atlanta, GA where they began recording Their
first album. Unfortunately the hardships of being in the music business
prevented them from putting out an album.
In 2005 3rd Twin moved back to Portland and began working and recording
his first solo project. This classic album was never released due to a
burglary at the studio where he was recording and all his music was
stolen.
In 2008 3rd Twin then relocated to Las Vegas with his two fellow DNA
members where they formed the Label Wallstreet Records and began
recording in Las Vegas. It was there that he would cross paths with his
now Producer/Engineer Grammy winner Tiger Roberts who won a Grammy for
producing the Iconic Gladys Knight. 3rd Twin made a big buzz in Las
Vegas even getting the attention and eventually was offered a contract
from the Great Pound for Pound Champion Floyd Mayweather's record label
Philty Rich Records. After contract negotiations stalled 3rd twin
decided to take the Independent route and is now back with a vengeance
and ready to make his statement in the Hip Hop industry. His Latest
Single "future in ya stuntin" has the internet in a frenzy and the city
of Portland Highly anticipating his long over due solo album. In the
words of 3rd twin "there are no bests just favorites" so get ready
because he's shooting to be your favorite.
